Lead by Gret Batchelar, Founder of Conscious Working Advisory and Soulstice Yoga

Gret had a successful career in the fashion industry, spanning near 20 years.  She left when faced with burnout and now helps organisations define their wellbeing strategy through her corporate advisory work.  She moved to Portugal in 2021 with her husband and 2 sons, and set up Soulstice Yoga Studio and has a vibrant and thriving yoga community in person and online.  She is passionate about supporting individuals make lasting improvements to their health through the practice of yoga, meditation and holistic wellbeing. 

She is a certified Low Tox Coach, 325 RYT Yoga Instructor in Power Vinyasa, Yin and Kula Flow, Meditation Facilitator and Mindfulness Teacher.

This includes premium accommodation, all food and drink on-site, twice daily yoga practice and all workshop segments listed.  Light breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be primarily plant-based.  Please let us know of any allergies or special requirements.  Use of the pool, gym and sauna are included.  Massages and other therapies are an extra cost.

Please note the following is NOT included: Flights and/or ground transport to the retreat centre are NOT included in the cost.  Meals off-site are NOT included in the cost.

Quinta Camarena is located in a rural part of Alentejo surrounded by picturesque landscapes and raw nature.  It’s off the beaten path property, untouched, authentic and  full of history.  The concept promises a return to nature to instill a sense of tranquility while inspiring wonder.  Just 15 minutes drive from the coast there are plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy.  Sustainability, community and biodiversity are at the heart of everything Quinta Camarena supports. 

Accommodations include 6 x rustic charm double bedrooms in the main villa and 7 double hillside rooms recently built.

The yoga shala is located in a private forest surrounded by oak and pine trees.

ROOM DESCRIPTIONS:

Villa do Laranjal is located right near the pool.  Each bedroom has large windows, first quality linens and its own private restroom. There is access to a communal living room and kitchen. The rustic charm decor has been meticulously curated with antiques, art pieces, and local sustainable craftsmanship.

Hillside Rooms Twin  x 4 (8 twin beds)

Hillside Room Single x 3 (3 double beds)

These are our newest rooms secluded in the quinta’s private forest and a bit further away from the pool and common space making them the perfect place to retreat.  Please note, there is a short hike to these rooms, but the payoff with the view is spectacular. Multilevel rooms and a private terrace with a view of the Alentejo sunset. Every room is a duplex, has a private bathroom, AC and large sliding glass window opening to the terrace. Please note these rooms currently do not have wifi or a fridge.
